Biography

With more than 20 years of experience in the upstream of oil and gas industry as a Deputy Manager, project manager of sample analysis services and scientific researches in petroleum exploration and production, team leader, a senior Expert in petroleum geochemistry and geology; a consultant for companies of oil and gas, mineral resources and environment; integrating and interpreting Exploration & Production data using advanced geo chemical solutions to help access reservoir and source rock potential, delineate field/basin, conduct correlation studies for prospecting, support field operations; chief author and co-author of research projects and commercialisation them in Vietnam and oversea; integrating surface and subsurface data to optimise Geological & Geophysical studies; a process-oriented Earth sciences and organic petroleum Geochemistry scientist with particular interests in the interactions and feedback between the Geo sciences and strong Geo chemical skills for Conventional and Unconventional resources; a supervisor for undergraduate and graduate students at the Universities and Institutes; a defender for research projects, theses; a reviewer and editor for technical journals of Vietnam and oversea’s publishers.
